Zulu royal partners with entities, government to launch GBV app

ZULU King MisuZulu kaZwelithini has joined the fight against gender-based viol-ence (GBV) by partnering with private entities and government to launch South Africa’s first GBV app known as Eyerus.

Speaking at the app launch, MisuZulu said GBV was a generational curse that had to end and that the new Eyerus app is the solution that’s been long-awaited. “It gives me great encouragement and support being one of the leaders in the country who is part of the biggest tribal grouping in the Southern Hemisphere, which is the Zulu people.

“Today I thank Eyerus for allowing me to pledge my support and give advice on where we stand as traditional leadership when it comes to what they are doing for us as a country.
